2006 was an eventful year because in being asked to take over the SeniorLink social alarm service, operated by the international charity Help the Aged, Eldercare formed a partnership with Help the Aged to become SeniorLinkEldercare. Unique in many ways but particularly unique in culture being half not for profit and half commercial organisation.

The work we do can be split into four sectors.

• Services provided to the Help the Aged charity’s clients.
• The services we provide to all of our other personal clients.
• Services we provide to corporate clients such as local authorities and housing associations.
• Hospices and home from hospital support schemes. This is for people who have returned from hospital after a serious treatment or those receiving hospice care at home.
